Work by Senior Artists

Judy Napangardi Watson #522/13
An Aboriginal Elder is someone who has gained recognition as a custodian of knowledge and lore and who has permission to disclose knowledge and beliefs. In terms of Aboriginal art, these Elders are referred to as 'senior' artists.
It is with deep regret that we acknowledge the death of some of these extraordinary Aboriginal artists and we honour their lives and culture by ensuring that the appropriate proceeds from the sale of these artworks is returned to their families and communities.
